According to each specific case, I can use a common insole base and then customise it with the appropriate materials and adjustments: the means I use are my own business, the important thing is that you get a positive result. Unfortunately, it so happens that if a doctor prescribes ten different medicines (drops, tablets, plasters, injections, suppositories), he is considered capable, whereas if he takes them off or doesn't add or prescribe them he is considered incompetent thats the way it goes in the world which is 99% filled by people who are not only ignorant but also do not want to listen in order to learn what they ignore. In some cases, I will give you the same insole for your left and right foot and you might be puzzled. What matters is correcting the way the heel is supported: the skill lies in 1) making the right diagnosis; 2) adding any medial or lateral supports and/or wedges at the right place of the heel. The insole is the same for both feet because a made-to-measure arch is not necessary. The insole is built with fine materials, is customised and costs 190. A milling machine is not necessary in order to manufacture a made-to-measure insole: the arch is often bothersome and it stiffens the foot muscles which should instead be strengthened with dynamic exercises. If you insist on having an insole fitted in to open-ended shoes such as slippers and/or flip-flops, let us not waste any more time.   General Medical Council, London GMC Ref.
